What to Do After a Vehicle Collision in Atlanta, Georgia

In the event of a traffic collision, safety should be the top priority for all drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. Even intersection crashes involving emergency vehicles can create hazardous conditions and traffic delays.

If you witness or are involved in a crash, check for injuries immediately and contact emergency services right away. Prompt response can help reduce the risk of serious harm.

Avoid moving injured individuals unless there is an immediate danger, such as fire or further impact risk. Wait for trained emergency personnel to provide assistance.

Stay clear of the intersection and follow directions from law enforcement and firefighters managing the scene to prevent additional incidents.
